In May, Jesse Hentsch and Andy McClure (members of our PowerQuip/Lindberg Process team) were asked to participate in the 2018 Veteran’s Ely fishing trip.  Bob (Coe) Landy from Xcel Energy Sherco Power Plant organizes this event each year raising the funds to update and repair the resort as well as taking the Veterans out for a week of fishing. This year, Bob and the volunteers raised enough money to replace the roof on 8 cabins and new microwaves for all 23 cabins at the resort.

This was the first year our team has been involved and it was an amazing experience!  The fishing was great but the connections made with the Veterans attending were priceless.
